The 3D centre of this thistle is a stitch called battlement - really effective and much easier to work than you may think.

Worked in 3 shades of green and four shades of purple on the traditional Thistle and in 3 shades of blue with white on the Arctic Thistle

This kit uses a variety of different stitches and is suitable for those with a little stitching experience.
